The cultural days of Laos and Vietnam are currently taking place from now until July the 21. This can be counted as one part to celebrate the fiftyth ceremony of diplomatic cooperation and the signing of Aggreement of Friendship and Collaboration among the 2 nations. The cultural days of Laos in Vietnam will start in Hanoi right on July the 17 with lots of concerts, dance performance and catwalk show during the event. Meanwhile, gallery exhibitions and film screenings will also be done as an important part of this celebration. Moreover, The 3rd Vietnam-Laos Friendship Festivel will be held in the big cities by Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization. They will also be organized in the northern provinces of Vietnam such as Tuyen Quang anh Ninh Binh from 15th-21st of July. Leaders of the two countries will pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the mausoleum at Ba Dinh square before attending the fiftieth anniversary meetings to mark the diplomatic collaboration and the 35th years since the signing of Agrrements of Friendship and Cooperation. The people in Laos will organize many concerts, catwalk performance, art exhibitions and artwork that portray the images of Vietnam, the landscapes, people and culture. Promotions in commerce in tourism have been carried out during the taking place of this event to publicize the image of Laos in Vietnam. In Vietnam, they will present many movies that feature the country of Vietnam and the friendship between Laos and Vietnam. There are 10 featured movies and documentaries will be presented during the event.
